You can get your own photo digital printer or upload your digital photos online, or take them to a store to have prints made. Whatever your choice, digital photo prints will give you hours of pleasure and preserve precious memories. Do you want to translate those digital photos from pixels to printed photographs? There are two ways you can do that! Retail Stores, Kiosks or Online Prints – Log on to a site like Shutterfly, KodakGallery (previously known as Ofoto), Snapfish, VistaPrint or Photoworks. There are lots of choices out there! Once you register on these sites, you can upload your photos into photo albums or galleries, and order prints to be shipped directly to your house for a modest shipping fee. You will have to upload your pictures from your camera to your computer first and then upload the photos you want to have printed onto the digital photo printing site. You can also choose an online retailer site like Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens, and other national or regional pharmacy chains and discount stores. They too have the capability to upload your photos and print them to be mailed to you or to be picked up at the local store. OR you can take your memory card out of your camera, hop in your car, and take it to your local pharmacy or discount store. There you will find a photo customer service desk, where you can hand your memory card to an attendant and have your prints made. You may also find a kiosk there, where you download pictures, and have prints made by using the step-by-step instructions on the kiosk screen. Digital Photo Printers for the Home – If you are more adventurous and love technology, you can get your own photo lab quality printer. Dell, Sony, HP, Samsung, Epson, and others make printers that instantly print your digital photos. Some allow you to print photos by docking your camera on the printing station and downloading your photos directly to the printer, while others require an upload of your pictures to a computer. You then send the pictures to the photo quality printer to get prints of your digital photographs. If you’d like to get a digital photo printer, you should check the print resolution print quality, and calculate the cost of the special photo quality paper, and color printer cartridges you will need to print your digital photographs. This cost may outweigh the advantage of getting your prints on the spot. It depends on how often you use your digital camera and how many prints you think you will want to make. So, whether you let someone else print your digital pictures and ship them to you, go to a store and upload your digital pictures to make prints, or buy your own photo quality printer, with a little effort and a small investment, you can get beautiful, high-resolution pictures and preserve those memories for a lifetime!
